Questions Before You Run?
Everything you need to know about the Boost WaterRepellent Running Jacket before heading out.
-
The Boost WaterRepellent is a water-resistant running jacket. Its fabric has a 10,000 mm water-column rating, offering strong resistance to rain and wet conditions. However, because the seams are not taped or sealed, the complete jacket is not classified as fully waterproof.
-
It is designed for wet and changing running conditions, including light to moderate rain. For prolonged heavy rain or situations where complete waterproof protection is essential, we recommend using a fully waterproof shell with sealed seams.
-
The fabric combines 10,000 mm water resistance with 10,000 g/m²/24h breathability, balancing protection from wet weather with moisture management during exercise.
-
Yes. The fabric has a breathability rating of 10,000 g/m²/24h, helping moisture vapour escape while you run and providing a balance between weather protection and breathability.
-
The Boost WaterRepellent weighs approximately 216 g in size M, making it a lightweight outer layer designed to provide protection without unnecessary bulk.
-
Yes. It features two small side pockets with top entry, ideal for carrying compact running essentials such as energy gels or other small items.
-
No. The jacket has a fixed, non-adjustable hood, designed to provide additional coverage when weather conditions change.
-
The Boost runs true to size with a streamlined athletic fit. We recommend your normal running jacket size. If you plan to layer heavily underneath, consider sizing up. Check our detailed size chart for chest and length measurements.
-
Machine wash at 30°C. Do not tumble dry. If ironing is necessary, use a maximum temperature of 110°C.
-
Yes. The Boost WaterRepellent is wind resistant, providing an additional protective layer during exposed or windy runs.
